Energy QLD | Barcaldine Depot Concrete Pavement Replacement & Pole Yard Extension

 

Pentacon was principal contractor & scope of work was to replace the existing pavement with new reinforced concrete pavement, and construct pole storage at Barcaldine Depot.

 

  • Site management, community liaison, environmental and erosion management, safety and quality management, traffic management

  • Removal of existing concrete hardstand, asphalt seal and pavement, extruded kerbs and inverts, linemarking

  • Earthworks

  • Roadworks including trimming and compacting subgrade to pavement, placement of geofabric

  • Asphalt works

  • Construction of 1,250m2 at 200mm thick concrete hardstand, including staged construction phasing to suit clients requirements in maintaining a fully operational site

  • Linemarking

  • Installation of signage and concrete wheel stops

  • Turfing
