DTMR | Gore Highway 28A (Toowoomba - Millmerran)

 

Pentacon is the principal contractor for the construction of pavement stabilisation and sealing works at Gore Highway 28A (Toowoomba - Millmerran).

 

  • Site Establishment/Disestablishment was undertaken.

  • Survey set out

  • Location and protection of existing services

  • Staged traffic management which was implemented and maintained for the duration of the works

  • Single flow of traffic maintained with a large component of heavy vehicles and oversized loads needing to be accommodated for whilst works are being undertaken

  • Safety, environmental and quality management

  • Excavation and disposal of unsuitable material within lines of excavation

  • Importing of Type B Class A1 material

  • Pulverisation and insitu stablisation of existing carriage way under the MRTS07B specification

  • Supply and install of sprayed bituminous treatments

  • Installation of road furniture and road delineation undertaken once rehabilitation works were complete

  • Restoration of all disturbed areas
