The scope of works for the project included the bank stabilisation and rehabilitation works along Brewers Road and Plane Creek, helping to protect and enhance the region's natural landscape.

Project Scope of Works

• Development and implementation of management plans

• Implementation and maintenance of Sediment and Erosion control devices

• Development and Implementation of Traffic Management Plan

• Design Construction and Maintenance of Construction Access

• Environmental Erosion and Sediment Controls

• Maintaining site facilities

• Clearing and grubbing works

• Excavation of existing embankment including disposal of all waste and excess materials

• Protective treatments - Placement of Geofabric and 4,000m³+ of rock protection

• Construction of stormwater structures and non-return flood gates

• Concrete works

• Construction of landscape and revegetation works

• Supply and installation of road furniture/signage

• Coordination with Mackay Water for Infrastructure Modifications
