The scope of works was to upgrade the compost and soil manufacturing site in stages as the Principal Contractor for NuGrow Western Downs.

Project Scope of Works

• Implementing environmental control measures

• Detailed earthworks within the Leachate Pond and seepage detection sump

• Subgrade preparation including placement and compaction of clay Liner

• All materials and compaction testing of embankment and dam liner materials

• Construction of water retaining embankments

• Installation of leak detection sump and associated HDPE pipe work

• Installation of underdrainage

• Installation, welding and certification of HDPE liner

• Construction of concrete sill and anchor trench

• Construction of spilly way, rock chutes, and drainage channels

• Construction of access road unbound pavement and road furniture

• Landscaping, seeding and rehabilitation of disturbed areas

• Provision of Quality Assurance Package at completion of the works

• Trim Compost stockpile pad.

• Install Upstream bunding and drainage to allow Leachate to flow as intended
