Pentacon was principal contractor & work scope was to construct the Roper Creek diversion and levee, and associated flood protection works.

Ensuring works are undertaken in accordance with all MCPL and statutory safety requirements
Clearing and grubbing
Topsoil stripping and stockpiling
Excavation and removal of unsuitable material
Embankment foundation stripping
Key trench excavation
Sourcing suitable embankment fill
Embankment fill material placement including borrowing (excavation), moisture conditioning, haulage, placement, compaction and trimming to the specifications
Supply and installation of erosion protection works including rock lined channels and rock chutes
Sub-soil and topsoil amelioration, topsoil placement and hydromulching
Inspection and testing, quality assurance
